Earlier this afternoon I began to feel the effects of blazer-mania. I initially thought my website had gone viral. Unfortunately, due to a lack of actual content/insight the site remains undiscovered by the masses. I will forever chase at the heels of my competitor www.youtube.com like a tiny dog walking alongside a tallish man.

Getting back to the point, I was starting to go kind of bananas speculating over the possible role that Jerryd Bayless will play in the 08-09 Blazer resurgence when I found out about Martell Webster's foot fracture. Totally D.e.v.a.s.t.a.t.i.n.g. I decided to take it down a notch and go for a walk. I laced up my finest (whitest) k swiss hiking cleats and took a stroll.

Snooping around behind Trader Giottos I found some reminders of better times:

Sometimes you find the things you need most when you're not even looking. This notebook full of drawings of '90's Blazers legend Arvydas Sabonis and his fans really made me feel exponentially better about the health setbacks of the current squad.

"Greatness is a process."

That is a quote I penned in a word document that I keep on my computer entitled musings. One day I will fully accept that "the road to success is littered with failures (Joyce, 116)." Failures such as Rudy Fernandez'z freshly sprained ankle and this mystery artist's inability to draw a giants hands correctly.

I expect both to persevere and collect two or three trophies for their work.
