Wasn't able to get out to Chicago for the Scottie Pippen bust unveil, but felt responsible to provide coverage none-the-less.

First things first, the statue looks fantastic. No question about that. Didn't think full color when I first got a press release for the event and I'm sure this is going to catch a lot of flack on statue themed message boards/email lists but, reasonably, another great decision from the Bulls front office. Scottie Pippen lives in a house with small children and bronze is a color that the nightmare is made of. Pippen Fever is full swing at this point and an extended playoff run should produce a few more likenesses. Looking out for Paxon in victorian style porcelain by mid-summer.
